Time for a little color. A bright pop of red against dreamy, creamy Mookaite Jasper. The splash of red is a Paua Shell which gets to hang out with those two citrines. The stones are set with sterling and fine silver. I added a leaf found in a vintage silver platter on the back. It's your little secret.
The pendant is 2 inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide. I made the 17 inch necklace cord from cut citrine stones, garnet, and mookaite.
Some day, when trees have shed their leaves
And against the morning's white
The shivering birds beneath the eaves
Have sheltered for the night,
We'll turn our faces southward, love,
Toward the summer isle
Where bamboos spire the shafted grove
And wide-mouthed orchids smile.
