I found three perfect stones along the shores of Lake Superior and used them to create this exquisite little work of art. First I tumble polished the stones to give them that just out of the water look. The large stone has a tree pattern that is rare and organic looking. The other two pebbles just wanted to play, so I let them.
I set all of the stones using fine silver. There is a silversmith technique I used to set the smaller stones on top of the larger one so that this necklace has a very 3-D profile. The little sparkle is a champagne cubic zirconia. Wear this any time you want to feel special. Reach up and touch it to remember that vacation to the beach.
The pendant is 1 1/2 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches across at the widest part. I currently have it suspended on an 18 inch natural rubber cord with sterling end clasps.
