Fossil Coral is a natural stone that is formed when ancient coral is gradually replaced with agate. The fossilized coral typically appears as small flower-like patterns in the stone. These stones are usually found in Florida or Georgia.
Here are two exquisite examples. The stone at the top has vivid patterns of the fossil flowers and the two accent corals are shiny polished. The stone in the middle is garnet.
The piece is made with sterling and fine silver and it rests on a 2.5 mm sterling silver round omega chain.
Approximate dimensions: 3 inches tall by 2 inches wide.
