I was in Park Point for the opening of my summer show season. Park Point always has some interesting weather. This year we got cold, rain, and wind.
I've learned to come to Park Point way over prepared for anything. Here's me with layers of clothes and my ice fishing boots.
My tent neighbor showed me her boots.
I met a fellow jewelry designer. Here she is a couple doors down trying to stay open. Notice the quilted coat. She lives in Duluth. Her husband ran over with warmer clothes.
Annette is from Ely. She was right next to me. She makes 3-D paintings from grasses and seeds. She can't risk anything getting wet. Nice hat, Annette.
Little kids never care about getting wet. This girl was having a great time twirling her umbrella. More winter jackets.
Later the parking lot was full of gulls. Why? Happy hour? Did they just love the shallow puddle? I don't know.
I'll see you out there, rain or shine!
