I took a few collage-type photos to show the way gems correlate across my designs.
I use semi-precious accent gemstones in most of my pieces. The little gems in these earrings are carnelian, peridot, moonstone, amber, amethyst, and lab grown ruby.
Sometimes I'll choose a stone that's not natural but has exquisite quality - like the little lab grown ruby.
Here's a shot of some of my pendants talking to each other over coffee.
See the little accents? These are citrine, garnet, and white topaz.
One of my favorite pieces was designed around a Coyomito Agate. I saw this stone at the Tucson Gem and Mineral show and I fell instantly in love. The kind of love that makes your knees weak. I don't even keep this piece in my show bin. I like to talk to it. It's chatty.
Look at how the little gems dance around to echo the "drips" in the stone. The gem stones are lab grown ruby and rose quartz.
