We moved here over eleven years ago and sometimes it still takes my breath away. (Ha. No it's not because I was biking up a hill.)
This is the Echo Trail which is part of my bike route.
I usually ride from our house to Bass Lake, which is up the Echo Trail. There are a couple of serious hills, but the shoulders are wide except for the stretch on Old Winton Road.
Here's my bike! I LOVE my bike. It's cute and looks like a girl's bike, but don't let that fool you; it can kick ass.
This time of year the air is heavy with the deep scent of earth and evergreen. You can also catch the intoxicating scent of the flowers.
The purple flowers are lupine. At the same time some bright orange hawk weed, butter and eggs, and daisies are all out. Brilliant!
These colors have inspired me to do some work with my remaining Atlantisite stones. I only brought two of these stones back from the Tucson show. I'll be on the lookout for some more.
